Share Your World – 2014 Week 24

Very unusual questions this week, Cee! I am glad that your questions have me post at least on blog per week as I am a bit lazy at the moment!

What makes you feel the most secure?

I really have to think about that one. Hm… I guess I am most secure when I am getting lost in a moment because I am totally inspired by something – be it nature, a good city, a nice walk, anything really. When I am inspired, I forget my fears!

If you were a shoe, what kind would you be and why?

I never thought about this. I would probably be a nice pair of boots with a chunky heel – That would still make me standing even if I was scratched or harmed!

How many languages do you speak?

Well, I am fluent in German and English. I do get by in Spanish and Italian – I used to be fluent in Spanish but have not practised in ages, so I have forgotten a lot. I have never learned Italian and do not know any grammar, but I manage to make my point. And, being obsessed with languages, I know bits and pieces of Dutch and Danish… not enough to hold a conversation though. Oh, and I should speak French since I learned it in school, but I never liked it and am therefore not good at it!

What was the largest city you have been to?  What is the one thing you remember most?

That would be London, I suppose. There is not only one thing I remember – I spent one semester there in university and have a lot of strange memories!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful that my man and I can even have a good time when I am sick all weekend and we have to stay at home even though many other things were planned. I am looking forward to hopefully fully recover from that Summer flu and going away for the weekend (that was my birthday present from him!).
